Who operates this site

Seward AK Fishing Charters is operated by Launch with Bryan LLC, a limited liability company organised in the State of New Jersey, United States.

The company is in New Jersey. The fishing this site writes about is in Alaska. Those two facts are unrelated, and neither implies the other. This site has no Alaska operations, no boats, no crew and no premises there.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

Any action relating to these terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

What this site is not

It is not a charter company, a booking agent, a travel agency or a tour operator. It does not own boats, employ captains, run trips, take reservations, hold deposits or process payments.

When you book a trip, your contract is with that operator and nobody else. This site is not a party to it and cannot change, cancel, refund or chase anything on your behalf.

Information, not advice

Everything here is general information about how charter fishing in Seward works. It is not legal advice, not medical advice, not safety advice and not a substitute for what a licensed captain tells you on the day.

Fishing is a physical activity on open water and it carries real risk. Decisions about whether conditions are safe belong to the captain and the operator, and nothing on this site should be read as second-guessing them.

Regulations change, and this site refuses to state them

This site publishes no bag limits, size limits, season dates or licence fees, for the reason set out on the pages themselves: Pacific halibut rules are set annually by the International Pacific Halibut Commission and differ for charter anglers, and Alaska can change its own species rules mid-season.

Where a rule matters, this site names the regulator and links to it. You are responsible for checking the current rules before you fish.

No warranty

This site is provided as is. Reasonable care goes into it and it is corrected when errors are found, but no warranty is given that it is accurate, complete or current, express or implied.

Operator details in particular go stale. Businesses change hands, change booking systems and close.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Launch with Bryan LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on anything in it. That includes a trip that did not go as expected, a booking made with an operator described here, or a rule that had changed.

Links to other sites

This site links to charter operators, government agencies and other third parties. Those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices or their bookings.

A link is not an endorsement. The operator list is a record of who takes online bookings, found by scanning, and it says nothing about quality.

Money

This site currently earns nothing. It runs no advertising, takes no payment for listings or placement, and has no affiliate relationship with any operator or booking platform. Nobody has paid to be included, excluded, or described a particular way. If that changes, a disclosure will appear in the same update that adds the first paid link, and not afterwards.

Reviews and ratings

This site collects none. There is no review form, no testimonial, no score of our own and nothing averaged here. Publishing invented ratings would be dishonest and, under United States consumer protection law, unlawful.

Where star ratings do appear — on the operator cards in the trip planner — they are Google's figures, republished. Each one names the platform it came from and the date it was read, and links to the source so you can check it rather than take our word for it. They are shown as plain text and are deliberately not marked up as this site's own structured data, because presenting somebody else's rating as your own is the practice that rule exists to prevent.

An operator with no verified rating is left without one rather than given a low score by default. A business nobody has rated is unrated, not badly rated.

Content on this site

The writing and structure here belong to Launch with Bryan LLC. Quote it with attribution and a link. Do not republish it wholesale.

Photographs and agency material remain the property of their owners and are used or linked accordingly.

Accessibility

This site is built to be readable with a keyboard and a screen reader, and colour contrast is measured rather than assumed. That is an intention and an ongoing effort, not a certification. If something here is unusable for you, say so and it will be fixed.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page changes when they do, and continued use after that means you accept the revised version.
